NEXTSUNSET
Never miss a sunset at sea.
Land-based sunset apps get a ship's sunset wrong by minutes — they assume you're standing still, at sea level, on land time. NextSunset corrects for your ship's heading and speed, the height of your deck, and ship's time, and gives you the moment the sun's lower limb touches the water.

How it works
- The right sunset. Not the instant the sun's top edge vanishes for a person on the beach — the moment its lower limb meets the water, which is the sunset you actually watch.
- Corrected for motion. A ship sailing west at 20 knots chases the sun and delays it by minutes; sailing east steals them back. NextSunset projects your track and does that math.
- Corrected for height. The horizon dips as you climb. Tell it your deck — Deck 14's sunset runs measurably later than Deck 4's.
- Countdown and reminder. A timer to sunset and an alert before it, both running on absolute time, so they stay right even when the ship's clocks wander an hour from the sun's.
